Since the AT and KP scrapbooking-poolza class last week (read about it here) I've been on a creative high. I love learning new techniques and than actually using them.
In the last 7 days I proceeded to sign up for two additional online classes...Kelly Purkey's Sketchbook class with Studio Calico and Amy Tan's Collect & Create Class on TwoPeas. Holy. Moly. Creative overload. Can't get enough. I'm loving online/self-paced classes...I can work on them when I want to. When I feel inspired or a lack of inspiration. So wonderful.
Finally finished our anniversay book from our Temecula wine tasting trip last June. I started this like 8 months ago using a 7 Gypsies bound book. Boring. I just could not get into it. So I had to rip it apart (just a few pages) and start fresh using a cute Amy Tan Daybook. I'll probably use these books forever and ever. So versatile and easy to create with. And of course, I used The Good Life paper (my fav!), embellishments, and some other random goodies from my stash.

Making a serious mess of my dining room table. Lots of Thickers, sequins, washi tape, paper scraps, and pop dots.

I nicknamed my book "little fatty" because this book is F-A-T. Fat with memories and pretty paper. Love it though.

I was able to tie in our "welcome" card from Temecula Creek Inn. Nothing quite like incorporating collected memorabilia into my books. I added business cards, wine tasting cards, and packaging in the book too.

Used my new misting and masking technique here. And my coveted Lawn Fawn polaroid stamp.

"Grab Your Glass"...the theme of our trip.

Added a little pocket here for our wine tasting cards. This Daybook had full size pages, I prefer having smaller pages intermixed. To solve the problem, I used my pinking shears to cut pages to the size I prefer (right side).

Used another misting technique here. My new favorite mists are Sunrise (LOVE!!) and Sunset by Studio Calico.

Even though its almost been a year since our trip, I love looking back at the photos and journaling about our experience. Documenting.

The end. Project Anniversary Trip done...many more projects to go.
Enjoy your Saturday, friends!
